Brief humor TV Script

This is a sample of my humor creativity for TV.  One out the 100 scripts writen by Serapio Sergiovich, addressed to TV producers. Intended to be produced and distributed in the Web as well as in TV. Short humor videos are suitable for fast, viral marketing and promotion in the social networks.

A prophet of the self-help field promotes his book, “Do things right the first time”. He is supposed to read paragraphs from the book, wave at his admirers and smile to the camera.BOOK

However, he often stumbles, confused, forgets what he has to say and the director has to cut and roll again. In the intervals, he takes medication from several flasks, takes out a cigarette and smokes on the sly. He made a small hidding cubicle with books, where he drinks whiskey, smokes marijuana, pulls out a syringe and injects something on his arm.
On camera he shows a forced and exagerated smile, but as soon as the director cuts the filming, he shows a hostile and bitter face.

He drops whiskey on his shirt, rolls differently his sleeves, keeps cigarettes visible in his shirt pocket, lets his hair go untidy. He drops the microphone and they have to fix it with duct tape. Continue reading →

Potato chips. Radio interview.

The Journalist, Louis, interviews a boring and pedantic guest, an unknown actress who speaks without a pause. On the table there are two glasses of water and a bowl of potato chips. The journalist tries a potato and an exagerated noise is heard:

CRUNCH

From the controlling room a sound technician makes exagerated gestures to him, warning about the loud noise of the crunchy potato chip.

The journalist, very carefully, breaks down a chip with his fingers and takes a very small piece to his mouth. Again, a loud:

CRUNCH

President derogates Law of Gravity

The female President looks herself in the mirror, and sees that some parts of her body are falling and gets angry about it.

She comments the fact to his Secretary.

The Presidential Secretary says vaguely that you cannot go against Nature.

The President shouts:
– It is unfair!!!

Short humor video scripts for Web Promotion

In the English section of this site there are a few samples of my scripts. See them below. If you read Spanish, there are more than 100 short humor video scripts, intended for TV or for web promotion thru YouTube and other social network sites. Check this folder for the Spanish Scripts.

Most of the scripts last 2-3 minutes. Some of them have a common character or subject, some are unique. Some of them are very simple and require minimal production, some require a modest effort in wardrobe, scenes or technical editing.

Many are mute, making it easy to show them everywhere.

We filmed a few videos with no budget at all, just to attract those clients that prefer the video format instead of reading. “Not a Simulation“, shows only the author on the phone. This other one is only an edition of an existing popular video showing a baby crying of emotion while his mother sings. A third one describes the suppossed Bigfoot appearance. A recent addition is a self-promotional short video, announcing a big movie production made with little resources.

Spanish – Cirujano arregla errores ortográficos

Una hermosa chica va al cirujano a explicarle su problema: tenía un novio cuyo amor era tan grande como mala su ortografía. Y se había tatuado todo el cuerpo con frases como “Te Hamo”, “Te kiero”, “Tullo por ciempre”, y así. El cirujano sonríe con suficiencia y se compromete a solucionar los errores.

Pero una vez en el quirófano con la paciente anestesiada, descubre que no se acuerda cómo escribir correctamente las palabras…. Y tampoco puede ayudarlo la instrumentadora ni el anestesista. Continue reading →

– Soda no hay. Está viniendo el sodero. Y me parece que no hay whisky. Tengo cognac.
– Quiero irlandés
. No me gusta el whisky, no puedo ni sentir el olor
– Ajá. Tu eres un poderoso genio y podrá hacer algo al respecto…

El marketing viral consiste en generar un material promocional que los lectores o usuarios recomienden a sus allegados, multiplicando así su efecto. Esto incluye maniobras que los usuarios puedan hacer en beneficio del material promocional, como alojarlo en sus propios sitios webs, incluirlo en sus espacios en redes sociales, o publicar links hacia él en los espacios a los que tengan acceso.
YouTube es una plataforma específica para videos breves, proveyendo alojamiento web gratuito y de calidad. A su vez, dado que posee una inmensa cantidad de usuarios que pueden recomendar el video, constituye el principal objetivo para los comercializadores (marketers) que deseen difundir el video con el mensaje comercial de su cliente.
